UPDATE (August 2017)
I already did this amazing journey. Check my fly around the world video to see how it was.
Here’s the backstory (July 2017) of this journey:
It’s time again! Time to fly for another trip, new adventures and lots of fun.
I’ve been in Chile and have not been traveling out of the continent for a while; well, around 7 months that is really long time and unusual for a travel addict.

And now, I’m taking off! To get to my destination, I’ll fly half way around the world. I’m going to more or less furthest destination available on the planet from Chile.
I’ll take off from Santiago Airport. After 14 hours of flying, I’ll get to Rome / Italy. There I’ll change plane and fly another 6 hours to Abu Dhabi / United Arab Emirates. And from there, I’ll take my last leg of flight, another 7 hours to…

Bangkok / Thailand!!!
Altogether with transit times at the airports, it’ll be a 33 hour trip with 27 hours flying. Although I have done many intercontinental flights before, this will be my longest flight ever. I may get a bit tired and have some jet lag as of changing 11 time zones, but it’s all OK. I love traveling, I love flying, and as some people would know, I love Thailand. I’ve been there 3 times already, so I can say I know the country a bit and it’s always great to get back 🙂
I had previously been invited to Thailand for press trips and conference purposes as well. This time, I am one of the winners of a travel writing blogger competition. So, we will attend FAM (familiarisation) Trip with fellow bloggers and representatives of TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand). We will be discovering Isan, that is the northeastern region of Thailand. I’m really excited about that because having spent several months traveling in Thailand and discovering many parts of the country, this region was still missing in my to-visit list.

We’ll start in Bangkok, and then travel to Buriram and Surin. Lots of cultural insight, fun activities, great food and amazing people are waiting for us.

So, let me get on the plane and start my journey half way around the world!!!
